Dedication and hard work pays off!

I’m happy to say that things are going GREAT! I weighed in this morning at 183 pounds and I couldn’t be happier!

Here are my overall results:
Weight lost: 28 pounds
Inches lost: 11.7
Dress size: -1
Pant size:-2

For those of you that have just started following me, here’s what I’ve been doing:

I’m a Beachbody Coach and  follow the ChaLean Extreme workout program for 6 days a week for 30-45 mins no matter what.


I also eat a clean meal every 2 hours 7 days a week and drink at least 3 liters of water.

Are you up for a challenge?


There is something to be said about someone that inspires others, it is my goal to be that someone.

I’m sure many of you have heard about Michael Moore and his “virtual walks” and if you haven’t, you need to read about it here. On March 18, 2012, Michael decided to go for a walk and America decided to join him. By the end of the week there were thousands of people in hundreds of cities and towns walking with Michael. Night after night people wrote… Michael asking to walk again and feeling obligated, he did. The reason you may ask? There was no reason at all, no prize at the end or specific goal to meet. They did it because they could and the benefits that came along with it were priceless.

Michael’s story inspired me and it was one of the many reasons I have decided to host the From Flab to Fit Accountability Group on Facebook. Starting April 14th we will encourage each other, work out together and share our ups and downs for a total of 15 days. It will be the perfect way to jumpstart your body for bikini/Speedo season!

I personally will be doing the ChaLean Extreme program but I invite you to use any Beachbody program suited to your needs. Note: if you have questions about which Beachbody program is right for you, just ask! I’m happy to help!

Motivational Monday

So, this weekend was super busy and I have really neglected my list of blog “habits.”

A watched blog never gets followers..


I know this is only my 3rd post and that I am not going to become blog famous overnight but I am sure you can relate to the warm fuzzy feeling you get when someone follows your blog. Can you imagine what it would be like to be Freshly Pressed, receiving notification here, there, everywhere?! As much as I like to convince myself that I write for some sort of mental healing it is really nice when someone else comes along and finds you interesting enough to follow you. Hopefully it is to the point of interest that you do not  just end up sitting in a room full of Viagra  and instant millionaire spam notes only to be deleted in a bulk action.

I am going to make a commitment this 2013 to be the best blogger I can be. I would really love to be “that” blog, the one who not only made a commitment and stuck to it but the blog that also inspired others. I am so committed that I have even toyed with the idea of getting a “Blogging for Dummies” book but  #1. I despise books, hence the reason I am writing a blog  #2. I want to keep it as unique as possible.  Now please do not get this mixed up with my willingness to learn, trust me I want to learn but maybe I will do it by checking out other blogs and or some you-tube?

So as the saying goes “A watched pot never boils” I am going to refrain from checking my stats and spend more time re-searching/writing new material, as I know that these are two of the most vital steps in my process.  If you have anything that you think may help me along or has helped you please share!

Here is to the start of something new.

A new beginning, a new me, a new wardrobe and maybe even a new you.

Follow me on my journey from Sin to Thin, From Flab to Fit but most of all from failure to success.

Today is the day I make a pledge to stick to a plan, to follow though with my goals and ultimately to pursue my happiness.

On a recent trip to see family I had a few deep conversations about what matters most to me and all of the struggles I have had. While speaking with someone near and dear to my heart the topic of weight-loss came up.  As weight-loss has been a constant struggle for me, I became a bit defensive when chatting at first (assuming the size 3 in front of me had no idea how hard it really is) but after a heart to heart  conversation she confessed that she too had once been in my shoes. This extremely fit beautiful woman in front of me was once very close to my current weight. This was a huge inspiration to me. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the rest of our conversation was. We realized that we both struggle with the same issues and that we have very similar habits. I cannot begin to tell you how nice it was to have a real life “before” and” after” in front of me.

So now you are probably wondering what’s next?

A plan

A lifestyle change

A support program and fellow bloggers I won’t let down.
